Lilllabettt
Must have forgot my meds SC. It does NOT matter whether rape is proven in this case or not. The football player had illicit premarital sex. With a freshman girl two weeks after she moves to campus. He admits to it. In olden days they would bench football players for much less. Mary
What is that girl talking about? Another life? Some of guys are a little to chemically imbalanced for me. @ Mary this was clearly more then just "he said she said" there was more then enough evidence to at least sit the player during any further investigation. It's clear the ND has lost its way. No skin off my nose, however when the university itself acts to cover up crimes there is a huge problem, especially considering the precedence set by the Catholic religion itself. I have a feeling there are a number of administrators in dire need of confession for the great injustice they have caused this poor girl.
Can you direct me to evidence to prove your statement? I haven't heard of any evidence other than her claim (jsyk, this is MCTS. Something happened with my password and this is me now, apparently.)
Socrates
There is an algorithm that says the longer a debate goes on, the statistical likelihood that someone will bring up Hitler to justify their argument approaches near certainty. You lasted 1 post. The problem with ideological purity is that it eventually turns you into an arse. All ideologies, followed to their logical conclusion, end in the ridiculous. Some people believe abortion is murder; they support it Other people believe abortion is not murder; they think it is something else; they support it. Some people hate gays, they are against gay rights Some people don't hate gays, they are against gay rights If you can't see the difference between those two groups of people, I think that is ridiculous. You lasted 1 post.you
An algorithm? Really? Don't know that much computer programming, so I guess I'll just take your word for it. Incidentally, I wasn't comparing your position to Nazism or Hitler. It's just that Hitler is convenient to use for reductio ad adsurdum arguments like I presented, because today, he is pretty much the only person that every person of marginal sanity can agree is EEEEEVVVILLLL. (I could just as easily have been more original and used Stalin, Mao, or Pol Pot, but you never know when the odd Commie sympathizer will pop up.) But what do I know, I'm an ass. Just check my avatar. My point is that I don't think there is any legitimate factual debate concerning whether or not an unborn human being is alive or non-living. After all, you can't kill that which isn't alive in the first place, and even the most hardened pro-abortion pundit must admit that abortion kills a fetus. I sincerely doubt that the pro-abortion positions of Obama and other pro-abortion politicians is truly based on invincible ignorance, but rather is based on political expediency and convenience. But, heck, at least they're not ideological purists, like us knuckle-dragging pro-life fanatics.
