Three Requests For Different People

- A friend's father is caught between a rock and a hard place. He needs surgery on his heart quite badly, but it's very likely that it would kill him. They've given him a few months to two years to live if he doesn't get the surgery. He's still in the hospital. My friend's employer has said that they can take off whatever time they need to visit their father, but financially, they can't afford to take time off and they're not comfortable with telling them that. On top of this, their mother was recently hospitalized and so was their grandmother. The father, mother, and grandmother are all getting pretty up there in age, so there's a possibility of my friend and her siblings losing both their parents and grandmother in a short period of time. I don't even know what to ask for prayer about that... it has to be overwhelming for my friend and their family.

- My sister flew out to the Scientology headquarters for a couple of days because they want her to become more involved in it. She's planning to do that in a couple of months. As many of you know, despite how they come across, they are a very dangerous cult and have been known to ruin people's lives, kidnap, physically and sexually abuse, and sometimes even kill them. She's been brainwashed and basically lost her will. We are scared for her life, her soul, and that we may never hear from her again. Please pray that this doesn't happen, that she would leave it without retribution from them and return to Christ. And faith, comfort, and peace for my family during all of this.

- I was diagnosed with a sinus infection, but there's something going on in my throat, chest, and ears, too. The doctor said that the infection was causing those and they have improved since going on an antibiotic, but today I woke up from a nap, choking on sinus drainage in my throat and having pain in my chest. I coughed a lot and got a lot of it out, but I'm concerned and don't know what to think or do. My condition has been improving since going on the medication, but this was pretty bad. Please pray for my healing and wisdom in addressing this.
