Aww! I wanted to see what to wear with Ugg Boots, because I can't think of ANYTHING that would make them look less stupid!

ugg boots should never, ever be worn under any circumstances.

no kidding.

I can't tell you anything that would make them look less ridiculous, but at least you guys (minus J) live in N. Dakota where maybe cushioned boots make a little sense. I've seen kids wearing them here this week. I'm almost the furthest you can get away from cold.

Whattt, ugg boots are alright on girls, and a lot of preppy dudes wear ugg byrons around here during winter. I'm more of a moccasin/leather boot guy myself, but I can see from this thread that Americans don't have much fashion sense. In the last "Computer Olympics" MIKolbe won the gold medal for "spam slaying," and I can't think of anyone who deserved the medal more. (And, obviously the judges agreed.) Slaying spam takes far more skill, experience, superior judgement, and computer skills than we give any of our mods or admins credit for. We are lucky (and blessed) to have MIKolbe here to protect our very lives from potentially lethal spam.

I've never looked, but I think St. George would be a fitting patron saint for the slaying of spam. St. George got all kinds of accolades for killing one lousy dragon, while MIKolbe holds the fabric of this phorum together by slaying spam for us every day, unnoticed and unappreciated. But, he's a humble guy.

The feast day of St. George is April 23. I plan to write the Pope today and ask him to also set April 23 as the day when we honor MIKolbe--the spam slayer among us!

P.S. to MIKolbe--Now that I've posted this, you're going to to "forget" to report to the police that "little mistake" I made, right? After all, no one was injured and not THAT much money was involved. :joecool:

There are much less stupid looking boots, though...and for cheaper! But yeah, people wearing Uggs down there is just ridiculous. And I don't see how sweaty feet are comfortable, either!
