Looking For Artists To Work With!

[b]I am a hip hop artist who has been active since 1994. On my latest album "Good People, Bad Habits" I finally made the transition to positive spiritual hip hop. This miraculous growth happened after many years of not-so-positive music making. I've been through a lot in my life and God has gotten me to a brand new level! Anyway, I'd like to make the jump to straight up Catholic hip hop. I'm looking for like-minded artists to collaborate with. MC's, producers, whoever! It'd be nice to work with someone who could help me perfect and realize the direction I'd like to go with this. Any help is appreciated! i briefly heard some of your music---dope stuff man... laid back positive vibes... i may be a little off here but you kind of sound like Shock G of Digital Underground!!

Definitely keep your style---doesn't have to be explicitly Catholic lyrics but they should be informed by your life, Catholicism lived to the full. Think Paradox (the rapper and concept). As it is, I think you're doing a great job.

Maybe this is a good example: Some devout Catholics rap like Akalyte others rap like Manchild.

[b]Thanks! I appreciate your feedback. I'm actually a long-time Digital Underground/Shock G fan, though I've never heard that comparison. LOL! Anyway, I've never heard Akalyte or Paradox (but I want to!). I am, however, a big fan of Manchild and his whole group of affiliates and projects (Deepspace 5, Mars Ill, etc.). The whole realm of Christian, and specifically Catholic, hip hop is all very new to me and I'm only barely discovering new artists to listen to. Any suggestions?[/b]
