Semper Catholic
Also I believe the break in film was because the girl said "Problem Officer?" and put on her cool face.
Jesus_lol
Well, we don't know what happened during those "moments later". Winchester
I did not know people abused their power and that there were dumbasses with badges. This is really news to me and proves that all police are corrupt and that a system with people in positions of power cannot work.
havok579257
actually a lot needs to be said. like why exactly did she get arrested? its not because of the bubbles. the girl put the bubbles away and agreed not to blow them at the officer. so her arrest is something else. although we can not find out why since part of the video is missing. find the rest of the video, post it and then we can see why she was reallly arrested. until then, i looks like your just fishing. MichaelFilo
Full interview Video about the incident specifically. Evidently she was arrested for a having a backpack and having a number on her hand, as recommended by lawyers in case of arrest. Evidently these were reasons to arrest people at the event. It's easy to write off these people as immature authority haters but does it make it right to use the force of the state against them? When some people lose their liberty, then everyone is in danger of it too. What happens when pro-lifer's get harassed by the police? I wonder what the others will write us off? Crazies? Women-haters? ardillacid
This is the pattern. Other cases are always brought in. These are based off of news reports. There will be no mention of the thousands of uneventful police actions. Only news report versions of police actions. We will then all pretend that the problem is the State and not human nature in general and that if we got rid of police and the State, that everyone would live in harmony. You'll get used to it, but if you're like me you'll still comment once in a while. poo, I forgot something. You are also supposed to disregard any common sense and pretend that everyone who gets tased was simply not complying with bizarre whims of some power-crazed cop. MichaelFilo
I agree, there will never be perfect police, but it is silly to see so many cases arise where there is no punishment. There is a trend here. As the state grows it needs more State enforcers. With an understanding of human nature comes an understanding that granting too much power to any man will lead to consequences that are undesirable, and the police today are raised above the threshold of ordinary citizen and have received quite a few protections from the courts and the state at large.
classic case of people twisting the facts to fit their hatred of the police. the report says she was not arrested for the bubbles but for other things. absolutly classic from some people on here. lets twist the facts about someone being arrested for bubbles being blown. classic twisting of the facts. also i love the fact that people can be jerks to the police and nothing is said about that. i guess when it comes to acting christian, well that only applies to the police. bystanders are allowed to be jerks and unchristian right? And I'm sorry but this girl was not "being a jerk" anyway. It's not a conspiracy theory "Police State" it's just some dumb individual buttpained Cop. For some reason the job tends to attract those high school kids who always told people "hardcore stories" that no one believed. Now this guy is stuck babysitting protestors instead of breaking down doors with SWAT and has his panties in a bunch.
Semper Catholic
Pretty stereotypical childish hippie. Probably thinks freedom means being able to do anything, at anytime, anywhere without any consequences. I remember when I was five years old and liked blowing bubbles in my friends faces to be annoying. Get a job and become a contributing member of society
LOL and the middle aged man who was shown defending her sure did look like a childish hippie too. The police woman standing next to Officer Bubbles was laughing it off, reacting appropriately. Instead Officer Bubbles makes a national fool out of himself. I'm sorry but I'm not going to go around stringing people up for being "unchristian" just because they were being mildly annoying.
