late morning and early afternoon of 10-30-10

sucked up leaves, beer bottles, broken glass, cigarette butts, as well as general debris and trash with gazilion hour power twin-street vac.
prevailing in war against fallen leaves.
waiting for wedding to begin. Looking forward to beholding the greeness on the bride and grooms face's.
preparing for the disorder which will unfold tonight.

wedding finishes.
after offereing help to carry boxes,
get stuck in north sacristy with a bunch of women of all ages from the Saint Anne's society,
while wedding party is taking pictures in front of altar.
get barraged with personal questions from the bunch of women.
answer questions, minimally and vaguely.

Eventide:

saw 'The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest.' Superb.
on walk back, witnessed house with huge banner on front saying, "Season of the Witch" with bonfire in yard, drums beating, and adults dressed up in various costumes doing God knows what.
