-You know what day it is in the Liturgical Calendar but you dont alwayus know what day of the week or day of the month it is
-you get up at 5 to 4AM and give yourself heck for sleeping in
-you walk around in street clothes and people ask you if you are an ex-nun

seriously though, there have been people who asked me if i was an ex-MONK before I joined up, so it seems logical to assume that some ladies would be asked if they were ex-nuns before joining up.

Joking aside, I know of a young woman (pre V2) who was happily a layperson with a career with no desire to enter religious life but began to feel that most everywhere she went she seemed to see nuns. So she decided to visit her local convent mainly out of curiousity and to educate herself about religious life........and came away, slightly in shock, with her entrance date. She has been happily professed now for well over 50 years.
The Lord can move in strange ways indeed and His Ways not ours often at all.
