So, I've been having a rough day and am having a really hard time coming up with positive things/happy thoughts. Feel free to post anything that is happy --comments, stories, pictures, etc. It is much appreciated. Thank you.

You and me both, sister.

I am grateful for all the good supportive people around me. My husband who helps put everything right. And my twit children who make me laugh hysterically and want to :wall: in turns.

Also, I am thankful for tall glasses of wine. :saint:

I fed 18 people today who didn't have anywhere else to go for Thanksgiving. My dining room has been taken over by a bunch of scrabble players, and the kids have gotten into my yo-yo collection in the living room. One woman with schizophrenia is talking to herself in the corner about bongos, but has a smile on her face.

Also, freakin' cutest little fairy you'll see this Halloween (with the obvious exception of her equally cute sisters).

I'm even actually TRYING to be positive, which is unusual, but every time I start thinking things are going right, something ELSE goes wrong! And my stupid heart meds eliminate the option of wine. <_< :P

That last part of the last sentence made me literally laugh out loud. Thank you. :)

The strangest thing is that we were watching the Holocaust scenes from War and Remembrance when she starting talking about bongos. I know that seems like a strange choice to watch for a Holiday, but I figured that would make us as thankful as possible for what we have. How she got bongos out of that, I guess I'll never know.

Our Thanksgiving tradition is to recount the story of the first Thanksgiving my Grandma had in the US (she was 13 at the time, and poorer than poor). She's enjoyed having us get married so that she can get new members in her audience. lol.

I gave one of our kindergartener's a rosary ring as a prize yesterday, and she was so excited that she could keep it in her pocket and hold it whenever she wanted and it would be like Mary holding her hand all day long!!!
