Era Might
Any kind of soup will do. You can stretch a pot of soup a long way, especially if you have bread with it. Add some rice or noodles for filler. Edited October 5, 2010 by Era Might

OraProMe
Boil some gnocchi and drain. Remove gnocchi. In the same pot saute some diced chorizo sausage, add a can of pasta sauce (or a can of tomato), chilli, garlic, return gnocchi to the sauce and stir through. Serve with coagulated milk grated over the top. I cooked this last night because it's all I could find in the fridge. So delicious and it only took 12 minutes. [/quote] How do hot dogs fit in budgetarily? Maybe mix up with beans? What about turkey or (especially for Fridays) tuna subs? Or, since people have mentioned chicken, if you can grill some chicken breasts, then chop them up and add to lettuce and/or other greens to make a chicken salad mix?
