Guest Guest
ok, so, if you're in a state of mortal sin, you cannot recieve the Eucharist, or it is another mortal sin, and if you miss mass, it's a mortal sin aswell. if you can't receive communion, does if matter if you go to Mass? Pio Nono
JMJ 4/18 - Divine Mercy Sunday Strictly speaking, the only person who has to receive communion at Mass is the priest. However, if you're in the state of grace and you've fasted, you should receive communion. And you're correct - if one is in the state of mortal sin, he should not receive until he has made his confession. I hope this helps.
