Mrs. Bro. Adam
You may want to consider putting in some auburn highlights or lowlights (or both). A subtle but nice change. Remember that there is a certain amount of upkeep afterwards, which is annoying but worth it. It is very difficult to go from a dark color to a light color, and if you choose to do this please go to a salon.
I will be getting my hair done professionally by the owner of a salon. Cost of chemicals because of the friendship.
I have a couple suggestions for colors: gun metal, charcoal, midnight, the inside of a black whole, ozzy osbourne's favorite color, driving through a tunnel slowly, the opposite of white, or life through Hellen Keller's Eyes. What do you think?
Haha! LOVE it! Don't think my skin is light enough for it, though

Don't think my skin is light enough for it, though
Aww sorry I missed this thread I love talking about things like this! I think for hair color, it really depends on the person's skin tone. Some people like really dark hair (myself included) but have too pale a skin tone to be able to pull it off successfully. I think the same goes for red hair - not everyone looks good with red hair, and sometimes even if it does look good at first, it later fades to a very unnatural copper tone that just looks frumpy at best. A deep red-tone highlight sounds like it might be a good choice! Be aware, though - like I said before, a lot of the red tones can fade quickly and look pretty bad once they do. Or ... maybe some lighter highlights? Not blonde, but maybe a beige brown. I'm a fan of highlights done well, because it can really give your hair some dimension, and seems to last longer than just simple coloring. OR, you could go for a light auburn brown, and then get some blonde highlights on top of that. Depending on your skin tone, that might look nice! Let us know what and when you choose! cmotherofpirl
Are there any good temporary colors yunz have tried, I have "matured" to grey hair with red sprinkled thru it, and I have to be in a wedding. I don't want anything permanent, its way too annoying to get a touch up every two weeks. Any ideas ladies?

When I think red, I guess I'm thinking the red closest to brown, but would that, in actuality be auburn (I'm not sure) I'm definitely going to keep your input in mind
Are there any good temporary colors yunz have tried, I have "matured" to grey hair with red sprinkled thru it, and I have to be in a wedding. (haha-play on words :D ) I've been told that my hair grows quickly, so if I don't like it, I guess that'd be a good thing Adam and I dyed my hair last June that I really liked. I think it was red, but not pippy longstocking red. I'll have to post before and after pics when I get it done!
