Winchester Posted September 3, 2010 Share Posted September 3, 2010 Inevitably, capitalism will lead to cronyism (but this happens with every society in one version or another so it's really not a problem with Capitalism so much as a problem with people. I really only mentioned it to shut up the hippies, who all stopped reading as soon as I typed that). Ed Normile Posted September 6, 2010 Share Posted September 6, 2010 The real problem with capitalism is that it confuses people by leaving them with a false sense of freedom and the thought that they may have been created by a God who would be happy with the ability their capitlistic gains would allow, such as the ability to take care of themselves and share their bounty with the less fortunate of their own freewill.
