Feel Really Bad

Keenan, I've noticed that bizarre things like that seem to happen whenever I beging seriously discerning. Not kissing, outside of air kissing...but just being bothered by members of the opposite sex. It's just the devil thwoing out some of his parlour tricks to see if he can spook ya

Yeah but I was responsive and I could have stopped her, so that is my bad.. =| I dont expect to ever be able to relate to what you went through, but I have a sense of the guilt and its horrible. To be perfectly honest, this threw a big wrench in my thinking for days now. And I think Im better now. I put away my secular music and started listening to Christian again. And Im positively going back to my daily Bible reading tonight which is a good sign. :] Seriously though, it disrupted my entire world which I had built on faith. I cant remember who it was, but I think it was one of the apostles who ran out of a temple hollering even at the slightest temptation, and now I know why. Faith is persistent but fragile. And youre right, I need quiet time in prayer.

I know!! Ive had a lot of alone time to think the past few days and thats the conclusion I came too. The devil knows our weaknesses and exploits them. Everything was going insanely good. I was attending Mass almost daily. Ive never been this committed before. And then it felt like I got hit by lightning. And its the same crisis that hit me right before my Baptism and No More. >=[ *brandishes rosary*

Don't let yourself blow this out of proportion. I did that once over getting kissed on the cheek, and the only sin was letting myself go nuts thinking I had in some way ruined my discernement. Don't worry, little sister is praying

Don't get too hard on yourself or scrupulous, though. Trust more in God's forgiveness, mercy, compassion, and love. God can use every weakness, imperfection, fault, etc. and bring good out of it; in this way, you can grow closer to Jesus and in holiness.

Like you, I seem to have had attacks at different times in my life, namely through RCIA, and now that I'm discerning religious life. I've had guys at the library, hospital, gas station, etc. show interest, and it upset me so much. They definitely were not good, Catholic gentlemen.
