Mark of the Cross
Media accusations? What does the Federal Bureau of Investigation's decision to sever ties with CAIR based on the findings of a 15-year investigation have to do with media accusations?
The document is posted by the media and is dated. I wouldn't trust CAIR either, but I also wouldn't trust what the media or the FBI wrote either. With regard to the FBI, Sternhauser could well be correct.
You are completely free to believe whatever CAIR posts on their website.
You didn't answer my question. I'm not familiar with US law. Is it legal in your country to advertise that donations are tax deductible when they are not? In Australia charges would be laid for such a claim if they were not true. Assuming CAIR.com is located in the USA and the donations are passed through the US banking system, why is the site not shut down or warnings given that the site is bogus and a tax deduction is not available? A US address is given for Cheques and money orders. I believe the credit card system could stop transactions if they are going off shore.
