Hello,

I really love Fr. Dubay's video series "Contemplation," as well as "Prayer Quests," and his book "Fire Within."

I'm learning soooo much. He does ramble a bit and he's a bit repetitive and he could make things a little simpler, though. Still, he's at a level I can understand and he touches on deep matters of prayer and the spiritual life. Just love him!

You can actually listen to his fabulous "Contemplation" video series, on audio:

This series was recently on EWTN. I believe it was Thursdays around 6PM ET.

This series sounds fantastic:

Which have you watched/read/listened to? What did you get out of each? ...Or even any other series or books by him.

God bless you.

Fr. Dubay is staying with the Little Sisters where I volunteer. He is a wonderful man.

His "Dawn of a Consecration" was formative to me. It is written for postulants and novices, so it addresses adjusting to convent life, how to meditate, etc.

So wonderful!

Ya just looking through the episode titles it does sound good. It also sounds like something one of my stalkers TofA would like me to lsiten to so I'll quit sitting by the moat of the Interior Castle drinking beer and do something more productive :P

I think it was in reading his book, "And you are Christ's" that I finally realized that Jesus had stolen my heart and that I could not love another man without somehow loving Him less.

He has a book explaining what spiritual direction is and that book is awesome. I also have read Fire Within -- great works.

One of my friends has Fr. Dubay as her spiritual director. Before meeting her, I confess that I had never heard of him before --- but, after meeting her and hearing about his works (!) I simply had to investigate!
To say the least, I think he's amazing and am quite jealous of my friend. ;)

Just checked the secondhand/antiquarian book exchanges online. And that particular title is....scarce. Really really scarce. If you have a copy, hang on tight to it!
