fides quarens intellectum
Here's how it works. Church Scholars and other Church Militant use this thread to nominate phatmassers
So, since I'm not a tag member, I'm not supposed to nominate anyone in dUSt's thread. I was wondering, would any of you who do have the flag take a minute to nominate someone who could easily get overlooked? Cherie Madame I don't know her personally, but just based on her posts, she clearly has a strong love of Mother Church, and is making a strong effort to lead a life of holiness according to the Church. Besides, she discerned with a good religious community, so her theological formation is sure to be solid. Could someone please nominate her who already has a flag? She's not a member of the PM in-crowd, but I really think she's someone very deserving of the Church Militant tag, so I'm really hoping she gets included with this current campaign. Thanks so much! Peace in Christ, -fides
laetitia crucis
As another non-flag-bearer member, I would like to second the nomination of CherieMadame for all the reasons fides quarens intellectum has stated. And if I may, I'd also like to include in my non-flag-bearer nomination: - dominicansoul - Apotheoun - TeresaBenedicta - the_rev - Lilllabettt - all of our PM "Religious" and "clergy" flag bearers (but then again, I'm wondering if the "Religious" and "Clergy" flag cover for the "Church Militant/Scholar" thing... )

Laudate_Dominum
I don't know that Apo can be a CM, since he's Eastern Christian.
What is the reasoning here? The Eastern Catholic Churches are just as Catholic as the Roman Catholic Church. Unless phatmass is officially prejudiced against non-Roman Catholic Catholics I suppose.

Since said individuals professed grave teachings counter to Church teaching on a certain subject(s). Pax

dominicansoul
honestly, i dont' think any of us live up to that tag.. lol...except maybe a very rare few... but it's good to try to live up to it, though.. if anything, that's something to have it for... and mcts, don't feel bad... when I first logged into phatmass... i had no idea what religion Apo was!! It's just another example that we certainly do need to learn a lot more about the Eastern Rite "lung" of the Body of Christ on earth...
