Church Militant Nomination Thread.

How does that person appear to the visitors of Phatmass? Do they come across as charitable and welcoming or not? Since the primary intention of the website is to draw in potential converts and not be a self enclosed society, I think this would be an important distinction. The reason we have tags is for visitors and potential converts. Its so they know who's opinion is Catholic and who's maybe isn't. (or definitely isn't) I think the Church Militant are the first people to give impressions to our visitors (There are more with the militant tag than mod or scholar) and should act accordingly. I would also suggest that if someone is consistently warned for personal attacks, they should have their militant tag removed.

The primary reason for this site has always been for the conversion of others to Catholicism. I think we all lose sight of that from time to time. But if we choose to participate in this Phorum, we should remind ourselves that its more than a community for us to interact. Its primary role is to convert.

I agree with this completely. When I first joined Phatmass, I quit coming for several months after being attacked by someone with a CM flag.

I would also recommend Apotheun.



I was once a long time ago going to be given Scholar I believe, but part of it is that at least at the time I don't think dUST was interested in any more scholars. I am militant though, and my BA in Theology qualifys me for scholar, but I don't post regularly enough for it to make much of a difference.


Edit: Err... I was militant... I guess the nose picking booger eating made me lose that. :surrender:

I'll bet that when the awesome flag was taken off, the CM flag didn't come back automatically.
Hope that's fixed before the end of the week when my tag goes away. :unsure:
