I said I could only remember secular music making me sad/cry. Well, I've remembered a religious song that has made me cry...

A M A Z I N G - G R A C E !

Soooo beautiful! It is so soul-stirring and touches on my conversion to the Faith and just how thankful I am to be in a relationship with Jesus, to be Catholic.

There is a FANTASTIC video on Amazing Grace, that goes over the different ways people all over the country sing it. The different soulful interpretations all take on a different meaning, and all are beautiful. If you can get your hands on it, I highly recommend watching it. :)

Mark Schultz songs usually get me crying at least once. There's also one song which reminds me of the abuse I've gone through at home. The ending is especially meaningful to me because I get to thinking about how Jesus was there with me the whole time, even before my conversion experience.

This song used to make me cry. It's now one of my favorites. I think of it as Our Heavenly Father singing it to me personally.

laetitia crucis

This piece gets me every time. I played it in high school with the All-State Wind Symphony. This piece changed my life... I knew I had to be a music performance major while performing this piece. There was no going back.

I can't even make it through the piece while playing without shedding a tear. :paperbag:

Maybe this is the piece I'll hear as I'm floating up to the Pearly Gates...

Elgar's "Nimrod" from the Enigma Variations, performed by the London Symphony Orchestra with Sr. Colin Davis as conductor.

It's so beautiful! I think of weddings, of religious or couples.
