TeresaBenedicta
Okay, last one!! (You got me thinking of the sad ones that get me pretty much every time.) This one's not a soldier song, but it is country:

An old friend had emailed that to me, and I no longer had the link. I was just thinking about it recently and wanted to watch it. I don't remember it very well. Edit: I definitely don't like the music. All that rock, it's depressing, and doesn't help me spiritually. The skit is so powerful. I think this is the first time I actually watched all of it. Sarah147
Songs that have made me cry? Wow. I don't remember crying at any music since I quit listening to secular music. So it's going to be secular music I post; that's all that's made me cry, and some made me *just feel like* crying. Here's some I could think of. Here it goes: More to come... Selah
Changes, By Tupac. Everytime, never fails. Also, Hold On by Good Charlotte. Mostly because I've struggled with depression all my life, and I can relate. Like a lot. lol. And pretty much anything by Justin Beiber (but he makes me cry for another reason, lol) Edited August 31, 2010 by Selah

It really translated over to his music, with very deep, melancholy sounds, and a lot of his music made me very sad. Can't bare to listen to that kind of music anymore. Yikes. Don't Give Up, Mercy Street, Book of Love, are some examples. Soooo sad! Edited August 31, 2010 by JoyfulLife
Sarah147
Changes, By Tupac. Everytime, never fails.
I used to hear that on the radio. BRUCE HORNSBY!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE him! When I used to listen to secular. (Tupac sampled Bruce's song.) He seemed to get spiritual just a few years ago, with "Fields of Gray" and "Walk in the Sun." Other music that made me sad/cry were things like Jewel (on the radio), "Look of Love" by Madonna, some music by Faith Hill/Martina/Shania/similar, and boy, I'm having a hard time thinking back. I'll probably come back if I remember anything more. Edited August 31, 2010 by JoyfulLife

Selah
I'm in a Good Charlotte mood tonight: It makes me tear up a bit (did you know that Joel and Benji are both Catholic? I thought that was kinda cool)
Sarah147
I said I could only remember secular music making me sad/cry. Well, I've remembered a religious song that has made me cry... A M A Z I N G - G R A C E ! Soooo beautiful! It is so soul-stirring and touches on my conversion to the Faith and just how thankful I am to be in a relationship with Jesus, to be Catholic. There is a FANTASTIC video on Amazing Grace, that goes over the different ways people all over the country sing it. The different soulful interpretations all take on a different meaning, and all are beautiful. If you can get your hands on it, I highly recommend watching it.
