Apo, I know this is near and dear to you, and I don't mean to offend. In the interest of charity, though, perhaps we could refrain from pursuing an issue the administrator of this board has already expressed his opposition to?

We all know there are many different Catholic rites. We don't have to make different tags about them, though.

The administrator of this phorum has the right to decide what kind of groups he wants to have, and the rules by which certain members will be admitted, or not admitted, into those groups. It is his phorum.

The current group tags identify those with a consecrated status in the Church, those who have proven to be disobedient to the magisterium, those whom the administrator has chosen to answer questions about the faith in Q&A or to help him moderate the phorum, those who have been nominated by others, and now, those who have donated cash for awesomeness.

There currently is no Latin Rite group tag for all faithful papists, so why should there be a special one for members of Eastern Rites (or for those who like the EF of the Mass)? There is a reason why users were given a "Religion" field to fill in in their profile with whatever self-identifying label they choose.

Just sayin'.

Thank you for stating your opinion. Now here is my opinion: As I see it all the tags at Phatmass are Latin Catholic.

It is interesting that the vast majority of Eastern Christians who have come to Phatmass only post for a short while.
