New Eastern Christian Group At Phatmass

Proposed Eastern Christian Group Tag. It is a rather lovely tag if I do say so myself.

I like it. When I was back home I attended the Byzantine Liturgy almost every Sunday. Now in my new home there is really no Eastern Liturgies :'( But I have been interested in the Eastern Rite since high school.

Would their be a distinction in tags between Eastern Catholics who are in communion with the Pope and Eastern Christians who are not in communion> Eastern Catholic Button and an Eastern Christian or Eastern Orthodox Button.

hmm... that would seem to go against [url="http://www.phatmass.com/phorum/index.php?showtopic=107158"]what the pope had said[/url], so probably not a good idea for Phatmass.

Since Eastern Catholics and Eastern Orthodox are both "Eastern Christians" we would share the Eastern Christian tag. Our particular affiliation would be indicated in the religion category that appears on the left side of the screen under our Phatmass join date.
