You're using THAT emo again, Queen Victoria. Good try, but it was obvious, at least to me, that it wasn't ALL humor. If nothing else, your use of the "constipated" emo proves it--you would have used a humorous emo if you were TOTALLY kidding.

But, it's okay. School starts again soon, and all your friends will be back to play with. I used to dislike summers when I was in college. At college, you create an independent life as a student with your friends, and then, all of a sudden, for three months, they all go away. Summer is good because it means you only have to read what you want to read, and you get more sleep, but it's still disruptive. Then fall arrives and you have to start all over again.

Not a perfect substitute though. My utility preferences would display Cobb-Douglas behaviour, although the curve would be very nearly linear.

I was just about to make a funny post with a lot of truth in it, but didn't do so, because it was so secular that you would either be totally offended or just wouldn't get it. To me, this Catholic thing is like a New Yorker trying to live among the Amish. (Oh wait, they already made that movie.) I don't understand you and you don't understand me, and sometimes I want to go hug a tree. (Even though I have never in my life hugged a tree.) I don't think I can do it. (Yeah, yeah, it's God's job, not mine, but he's going to need to try a LOT harder.) How do I reject most of my core values, when, for the most part, they have made me into a person who tries to be generous, understanding, and kind to elderly nuns, and even spiders.

Sorry for being serious. Back to your usual programming. I'm going to try to sift through 300 tiny little cloisonne beads and separate them by color. (L-C will understand.)

P.S. Right after I posted this, my male cat defecated on my living room floor (at least it was on newspaper) which is his way of showing me that he is frustrated and I am not living up to his standards. I can't win.
