ironmonk
Everything the Catholic Church does and teaches is for Jesus. The center of the Catholic Church is Jesus. ironmonk
what does this have to do with apolegetics
It has to do with Apologetics because there are those here that are ignorant of the Catholic Faith and say what I posted is not true. Some are more obsessed with what they think is the Catholic Church instead of what really is the Catholic Church. Christ established the Church, and it will never be overcome... many people do not realize this, or they fear it being true so they avoid any writings before 1500 AD to back their claims. the lumberjack
Jason, if thats what you believe and you believe that it has solid biblical backing, then God bless you. though I can find HISTORICAL evidence of the Egyptians and Native Mexicans doing the same thing with their "host"...worshipping their gods. but hey, if it works for you....coo. BeenaBobba
though I can find HISTORICAL evidence of the Egyptians and Native Mexicans doing the same thing with their "host"...worshipping their gods.
You know, people can and do argue that things such as baptism and the Virgin Birth are pagan as well. That there were baptisms and other supposed "virgin births" doesn't mean anything. It's just a similarity. If anything, I think Jesus made it that way to prove that He is the Truth -- and that every other baptism and eating of bread is in vain. His is the true baptism, and His is the true Eucharist. The fact of the matter is that the Bible does indeed teach that the Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Our Lord. The early Christians believed this as well. God bless, Jennifer Edited May 2, 2004 by BeenaBobba

Go to this website http://www.therealpresence.org/eucharst/scrip/a6.html and do a good study. It takes you from the Old Testament to the New Testament and Rev. It even explains Jewish traditions, Jesus was a Jew was He not? You seem to want to pass over this issue. Do me a favor study the link I gave you and then come back and talk. Because your historical stuff, doesn't make sense! Much love brother Your in my prayers God Bless Jason
