Luigi
Lil Red - Maybe we should combine this thread with the Disciplining Children thread also current on the Debate Table. Who do we talk to about that?

Davies and J. R Brown. (A series of interviews about the different theories, has been made into a book) Schrodinger's Kittens and the Search for Reality- John Gribbin (easily the best lay person's guide) of course, A Brief History of Time- Stephen Hawking The Emperor's New Mind- Roger Penrose (very wordy, hard going but worth it for the concepts) Um... Oh and by the way, The Copenhagen interpretation was the thing I rattled on about for a moment. Best quote from this idea for me. [/quote] Yeah that and dark matter at 'Futurama'. The observation of a particle does not affect the particle itself, it only affects the observation, unless the observation physically interferes. If a thing is observed it appears as a particle in the same way as a quick look at the bus makes it appear stationary when in actual fact it will run over you a few seconds later. It in some ways resembles the pyramid flow chart theory where what we can observe is missing the apex, which can only be explained by an infinite entity. (Argument for God.)
