Anyone here realize how much a fully grown grizzly bear can weigh?

We're talking 1200-1500lbs...

As for agility, a bear can hit 30mph pretty dang fast. The bear has brute strength over all the others. Also, a bear could totally charge the lion or tiger and break them into pieces.

As for the alligator... seriously? You don't think a 1200lb bear jumping on an alligator could crush it? Who said anything about the back... smash his head...

I dunno, do you think its head would smash? They're sorta designed to be durable, and the bear isn't agile enough to put its entire body weight into a strike.

Bengals are quite huge. The grizzlies of tigers, no?

Bears still pwn.

Then they sift thru the belongings of the others and hopefully find something nice.

What about the bears who sit around around all day with lions, donkeys, and pigs eating honey. And then there's the bears who work as park rangers. And of course, there are the bears who care.

Bears can be a sketchy sort.

1. Honey is their spinach.
2. Only toughest bears can be park rangers.
3. Care Bears win without even getting their paws bloody.
4. Bears no sketchy.
5. Sixpence no match for bears.

Bears are tanks. End of story. Though, killer rabbit would really throw more variables into the mix... a mix that already has a lot of variables :detective:

I think the gator would win.
The bear and cats would fight each other right away, because they are just like that. They'd go for the biggest, most threatening animal in the place, because they feel threatened. The cats wouldn't join forces, they'd just fight. The bear would win, because he's bigger and stronger and definitely smarter... and the cats would do a good job of killing each other off, besides.
Then there's just the bear and the alligator left. Now what? Well, I'll tell you what. The alligator sits there by the sunny window and does absolutely nothing (he had a large meal before being shoved into this freaky room). Meanwhile, the bear gets weak from starvation; he needs to eat more than the gator. It doesn't occur to the bear to eat the gator; he eats mostly berries, usually, and hasn't met an alligator before, anyway. The bear is weak, the gator gets hungry, and easily finishes the bear off. It's all about stamina.

Case solved!

Does anyone want to pool some money and solve this once and for all? I figure if we all throw in about $100 and invest it in something with decent interest we should be able to have the battle in a few years.

Turns out I have a friend who strongly believes lion>tiger>bear.

She wouldn't even admit that a polar bear could beat a regular tiger.

"Tigers are bigger. Bears are just taller." Her quote, not mine.

Well that's true for an American Black Bear, but a grizzly is over double the weight of a tiger.
