Sarah147
Hello. The sub-title is supposed to end with "we are wired for love." I just watched an interesting interview with a doctor (Phd) that talks about thoughts and what scientifically happens to the brain. She says we are wired to love. Proteins are formed in our brain by a thought. She said we actually grow in intelligence by (I think she said through worship), it has been scientifically shown to be true. She gives a visual of toxic thoughts using a dead tree, and a good thought using a living tree. She says that problems and diseases and things come about from toxic thoughts. She also mentions about the "epigenome." If you'd like to watch it, it is at: http://tbn.org/video_portal/ July 14, 2010 episode, around 15 minutes into the programming. She also discusses it on her website: http://drleaf.net/thought-life I find this all very interesting. I've seen on Oprah that those of other faiths out there are lately into praticing being "in the moment/present." Innocent
Thanks for posting this. It's very interesting.
I find this all very interesting. I've seen on Oprah that those of other faiths out there are lately into praticing being "in the moment/present."
In Catholic literature, there is something somewhat similar to this. There's a great book titled Sacrament Of The Present Moment (Alternate Title: Abandonment to Divine Providence ) by Jean Pierre de Caussade. For the online edition on CCEL click here. I've found this book of great practical help in life.
