Apotheoun
During the more than six years that I have been a member of this forum people have used all sorts of words and phrases in Latin (and in other languages too) without it ever causing the smallest disturbance. Here is a little something in Old Slavonic in Russian letters: Возлюбим друг друга, да единомыслием исповемы: Отца и Сына, и Святого Духа, Троицу единосущную и нераздельную. Archaeology cat
I've never been to an EF Mass, though I'd like to do so someday. There isn't one in my diocese, though. I'd also be happy if the NO were celebrated with more Latin. They do that at the Cathedral, but I've not experienced it at a parish.

Fr. Chad Ripperger is a great priest and totally in line with the Church
yes, and as usual, a great, relevant article gets lost amongst the rest of the carp. Lil Red
I am an Eastern Catholic, and so I do not normally attend Roman Catholic parishes, but I do find it sad that many Roman Catholics do not have any interest in experiencing all of the many different aspects of their own tradition, and by tradition I am speaking about things that are more than simply 40 years old. A Roman Church that knows and affirms the whole of its liturgical, spiritual, and theological tradition, will be all the stronger as it moves forward in dialogue with the Eastern Orthodox Churches, and that will be good for everyone.
if you read carefully - they do attend an EF Mass on occasion...they do have interest in experiencing different aspects of their own tradition... OmniaInstaurareInChristo
To answer the original question, I do attend the Traditional Latin Mass. In fact, as head server, I make up the server schedule, train the servers, and serve every time we have Mass.

The Bus Station
During the school year I usually go to the TLM on Sundays ... because it's at 12:30 and I sleep through all the morning Masses. I'd never gone to a Latin Mass before college -- TLM is beautiful, but hey, so is the N.O. English Mass. The Mass is the Mass is the Mass. I don't think I have a preference -- EF, OF, What-EV -- as long as Jesus is there! Our Lord is present at Masses in all languages, folks! What a gift!
