CatholicCrusader
But since it is not known when she was sanctified, the feast of her Sanctification, rather than the feast of her Conception, is kept on the day of her conception.
That is from the reply to the third objection--although St. Thomas stated that he belived she was NOT sanctified before her conception, he states that we do not know when she was sanctified. Here I see him possibly leaving the response to be that she COULD have been sanctified before her conception. Do you think this means, rather, that we know she was not sanctified before her conception, yet we do not know when she was thereafter? Thank you, again, and God bless you. Pio Nono
JMJ 4/15 - Easter Thursday St. Thomas was wrong on the subject, so it's a moot point. If you wish to discuss this further, please bring it into the private forum. I do not intend on publicly discussing this again.
