Fragments
I'm sorry, prayers for her. I would like to think this event would shape your son and his girlfriend's lives. They will have learnt so much about love, responsibilty and the strength of a bond between lovers, and the bond between parents and their children. It is God's will, and so we must not be angry, instead, try to see the benefits this short life has brought to the world, without ever having been born. Again, I am sorry for your loss. little_miss_late
I just wanted to note that my son's girlfriend lost the baby a little while back. She's doing ok, was a sad few days. We had started buying the baby stuff. A little teddy bear from grand-pa was all ready. Nothing is lost in this world, all find themselves in the Lord's hands. IT is in this end that all will be known and that we will see those things that we missed. In this we trust will all our hearts.
I'm very sorry for all involved. Didacus
Thanks Pham, for your thoughts and your prayers. I too believe that good does come of this, and that this life, short as it was, has impacted us for the better.
Norseman82
I'm sorry to hear about the baby.
My son is extremely difficult - I won't gt into details (my two youngest however are little angels by any standards!).
You play hockey, right? Get the skates on and have a "conversation" with him (if you get what I mean) - that may get him to listen. Didacus
Well - long story short. Considering that the other baby was lost, I didn't repost. However, today, two grandchildren were born! (twins!) So I am now officially a grandfather. Whomp! (PS; I'm 37 years old, so is my wife). My son is still 16, not really ready to be a father himself, but he's getting a lot of help from the grandparents. Things will be difficult to say the least, but I'm certain everything will be fine. The mother is doing well after a blood transfusion and babies & al should be going home in the next couple of days. I'm very happy to have these little ones in my life, and so is my wife. We take them as they are; gifts of God, which we do not own but have been given to keep during the short time of our lives. We plan to make the most of it. T-shirts and cigars are in the mail for everyone. If you want chocolat cigars, now's the time to say so or you'll be getting the real thing. Smoke 'em if you want or keep them as souvenirs. I'm out of town for now, don't know their sex (nor their names) yet, 'cause my other little ones and I want to be surprised once we get back to town. Will keep you all posted, and maybe I'll try posting a pic or two (if I can figure out how to do that, I did it once, just need to relearn it). Didacus
Yes - I have to admit a facepalm was in order. But these are children like any other, and I insist they enter this world with as much love as can be humanly given. Babies and mother are leaving the hospital on Friday morning. I'm looking forward to holding them for the first time.
