In Alabama we used to, I don't know if some places still have them. My hometown had one and there are only 5000 people here, but the drive thru window is closed now and has been for years.
we have drive through liquor stores. we even have places where you can order a cocktail drink, they put it in a cup, you take it and drive off... ...at least that's the way its done in Texas...
A friend of mine told me that in New Orleans they do that all the time. It may be different now but she used to tend bar there for ages but you could actually get an alcoholic beverage at a drive thru window.

I'm pretty sure they expect you to walk, though.
River St. Savannah No comment.

jeffpugh
You know,Ontario has liquor outlets. In a way, it's great. It means all the stuff is in one place. On the other hand, the prices aren't that awesome... I hear that sometimes it's cheaper to get Canadian whiskey on the other side of the line. IcePrincessKRS
I've heard that liquor is rather more expensive for our northern neighbors.

It's not got a drive thru like mcdonald's or something. it IS drive through. Like an auto shop.
