J/K The community will have to decide the rules on alcohol, but my guess would be "only on special occasions" and not enough to get people drunk. Or maybe a glass or two of wine on Sundays. I don't drink at all for health reasons, so you can have mine. Just don't tell anyone.
For many years, Lands' End was only mail order, and later available on the Internet. Nowadays, there are a growing number of Lands' End retail shops in the U.S., but I suspect the bulk of their business is still mail order/Internet. I know that Lands' End ships internationally, but I don't know if it ships to Norway or not. Still, if you want to take a look, you should be able to access it on the Internet at www.landsend.com. BTW--A tankini is a two-piece suit. The kind I am thinking of has a bottom that reaches the navel (or has a skirt or shorts), while the top can be many styles but is long enough to cover the bottom piece part-way so it looks like a one-piece swimsuit. I just looked on Lands' End, and many of the tankini bottoms shown don't quite reach the navel, but that is because it is late in the season, and all their styles aren't available. linnie
Oh, I think that wine is a must. Jesus drank it, its a libation for celebration, and it tastes sooooo good. Just as with everything else though, moderation must be the guiding principle. so bring on the White Grenache and the Zinfadel! linnie
JTheresa
Drinking on special occasions sounds good, but only for those who are of age according to their homeland. ... Which puts me out of all the fun.

"Oh, Canada, your drinking age is 18" (Also, the UK is a possibility--it even even allows certain mild alcoholic beverages at 16). In RL going to either Canada or the UK would entail problems with Visas (but this isn't real life, after all), however, I also suspect that most of us will be from the U.S. and would like to make it a little easier for families to visit. (If teleportation is going to be a possibility, I'm going to make myself 30 or so (and healthy!) at the same time. ) --We'll have to check the specific drinking laws in various states. I wouldn't be surprised if some states allowed alcohol "at home" in certain circumstances --it's not like you're going to drive. After all, the states allow you to have wine for communion, and I have no clue how that special exception is worded in state laws. --The years from 18 to 21 just crawl, and then each year seems to go by faster and faster, until you wake up one day and find you're 40. So, savor this time. --We'll give you a second dessert as a consolation. Or, we'll give you extra time in the pool. Or something. One of the wise sayings I live by: "There's always a Plan B." Edited July 29, 2010 by IgnatiusofLoyola

lookingforfaith
I have picked a name already. Francis Marie. I have had that name in my head for awhile. Unless it has to be a clever/funny one...
laetitia crucis
If I had to choose a "serious" name, I'd pick Sr. M. Grace Aquinas. Hmmmmmm.... ......I think for the PCC, I'll call myself Sr. Mary Quite Contrary. Maybe I'll work in the garden.
