I was never allowed to have a bookbag with a cool monogram on it.

Because my mother was convinced it would lead to my kidnapping.

Kidnapper would say: "hey EPK! Your Mom told me to come pick you up from school!"

And because he knew my initials, I would go with him.

My mother thought I was very very dumb.
