You need **more** than 500 MEGS?? yeeech...

I guess you would if you are offering CD quality downloads on demand..... but is the board that disk/memory intensive??

Please do the paypal thing. I would love to give some mooooooola to help out cost.

Question..... since you have to pay to have this website up and all, how does one make money off of them.
*Stupid computer question* I know. But you always hear how some sites get such and such of hits per day/week. I figured if you had a website then you get a kickback from it if it were getting hit.

uh-oh new topic?!

I think that the hits give money if you have ads or something of that nature. PM is ad free thus I doubt dUST gets anything back (moneywise) from us hitting the site.

I have a full-time job outside of phatmass. I don't make a dime off this site.

I don't make money. haha

Some sites will have banners that may give them a little money if their visitors click on them. Some sites may offer products through an affiliate. In fact, I do this with the book links to Amazon.com... Every time someone clicks on a book and buys it, I get like 30 cents. Since phatmass started I've made about $1.50 from Amazon.com--and I chose the "pay in Amazon.com credits option"--so it should be about 15 more years before I get enough to buy a good book. lol

Phatmass will pretty much always be banner/ad free. I will never sell advertising here. I will never have an ad or banner to something that I wouldn't have full control over the content--that's why I only have links to specific books. The only other times that I actually had banners up were to The Passion and the St Therese movies--and that's because I personally wanted to promote them.

So, rest assured that phatmass is and will always be an advertisement free zone.

Do what? I got a new host, yes. I may not be able to afford it much longer though, as my job is about to give us a pay cut. There are a few awesome people who signed up for monthly donations, but unfortunately, they don't even cover 1/2 of the hosting costs yet.... :(
