Laudate_Dominum
Hawaiian pizza is not the best in my opinion for the following reezinz. 1. I'm opposed to the meat because it is not kosher. 2. As a devout vegan I'm also opposed to the che[s][/s]ese. 3. I'm against BPA so by default I'm opposed to the sauce which most likely involves canned tomato products on some level. 4. I'm opposed to white flour which is the main ingredient in most crusts. 5. I'm against racial and cultural stereotypes and am therefore offended by the title of the pizza. 6. I'm against carbon emissions and therefore must oppose the cooking process required to produce the pizza in question. 7. I'm against carbs therefore I'm opposed to the crust. 8. I'm against fat therefore I'm opposed to the che[s][/s]ese and ham. 9. I'm against non-local and/or out of season produce therefore I'm opposed to the pineapple. 10. I'm against fossil fuels therefore I must oppose the pizza delivery process. 11. I'm against capitalism therefore I must oppose the existence of pizza establishments. The list could go on and on since I am anti-everything. I had a free, raw, vegan, local, organic, inclusive, culturally sensitive, negative carbon footprint, good karma, celebration of diversity pizza one time that would get my vote. You're a young'n, so you're still working on witty and wise, but you're learning those traits well under the influence of MIKolbe and others. And, I thought you were the one with the manly, rugged good looks.
Touché, good woman.
St. John Chrysostom says that's a sin because the Church says so and the Jews even believed it in their tradition dating back to Abraham who heard it from his pop and they knew it cause God told them so. So there.

MIKolbe
you know.. the thing i dont like about Hawaiian pizza.. 1) i think the pineapples (or its juice) makes the coagulated milk melt differently. One can especially witness this when refrigerated for next day consumption. 2) It is RARELY canadien bacon, it is mostly ham. It is normally too thin and has a greater propensity to burn. 3) Hawaiian pizza just does not pick up out of the box the same as other pizzas. 4) Sometimes, the pizza manufacturer is sloppy and lets lots of pineapple juice sop on the pizza. This weighs it down disproportionately, and delivers a soggy pizza. there.. i got that off my chest.

Usually day-after pineapple pizza is, well... rather weird tasting. Like something just went terribly wrong overnight in the fridge. After we discovered this problem in the convent, we stopped adding pineapple to our pizzas.
