Friend's Baby Born At 33 Weeks

Hi All,

My friend Dora just had her little boy 7 weeks early, and Ezra Aiden is 3 lbs. 13 oz. and 17 inches long!

I'm not entirely sure what the complications were that made him be born so early, but at this point he is staying in the NICU and has been diagnosed with Neumothorax, which is air trapped between the lung and chest wall. At this point they're waiting to see if the problem fixes itself because it's still small.

Please pray for Ezra to remain strong while he continues to grow and battle these health issues.

As for Dora, her husband is in the Air Force, and she had to travel to Okinawa (where their base is) alone because of the complications she was having. While I don't think they counted on it happening this way, she didn't have her husband there when Ezra was born (I'm not sure anyone was with her, actually), but he is there now, as well as her mother-in-law. Dora is a strong woman, and she knows God is always there with her. Please pray that this whole situation hasn't been too rough on her physical and emotional well-being.
