Thanks but the question I asked on her was I presume wasn't extremely challenging. I just asked if she received my letter or email and if they were accepting inquiries at this point. Notice how I gave her an opportunity for her to politely tell me to leave them alone for now by saying that they are having a hard time responding to inquiries at this point. Basically they were yes or no questions. I don't understand why she won't take literally two seconds to respond to such simple questions...

No worries, perhaps this is God's way of leading your discernment elsewhere. :)

I agree with Cherie here. Pardon my tangentiality here, but I am also reminded of reading the vocation stories of some elderly sisters on various websites. They frequently mention that they joined the first community that responded to their initial correspondence, taking that as a sign from God. Not that I recommend such a strategy, but there is something to be said about a community if it does/doesn't reply to you after a reasonable time, especially if they make use of the internet for inquiries, and you are not attempting to contact them during Lent or Advent. God bless!

Hey just for an update, the sister on facebook just wrote on my wall so it's all good. Should be able to talk more in a few months when things calm down a bit on their end.
