OwNeD_byGoD
my friend told me the otehr day that catholicism is the fullest denomination, we are so full of good things because we are human and recognize that we cant do things all ourselves, so we believe in the Holy mother, the saints, and angels and everything like that say something that you think is cool about being a catholic

God Conquers
Along the same lines: "Catholics have been accused of trying to hide the bible. This is of course untrue. However, if it were true, it would pale in comparison to the protestant reformation which successfully hid everything else!" - GK Chesterton

thicke
why? I'm german and i say that, and the person i first heard it from is Polish.
Because everyone says it over there. Even the folks that can't speak hardly any English will look at you funny if you mention any of the other titles of Mary. But if you say "mama Mary", then you always see a look of love and recognition. Edited April 15, 2004 by thicke
Ashley
Interesting how everyone here mentioned all sorts of things about the Catholic Church...except Jesus Christ.
the_rev
Catholocism isn't a denomination dude! It is the one religion! All other denominations branched off of Catholicism, because these people didn't agree with what Christ established, and what was bound here on earth by His Holliness, the Pope, for whatever the Church binds on earth shall be bound in heaven! the_rev
Our 'worship' is the most satisfying of our thirst and hunger for Christ!
benedict_x
The thing is that we're not that insecure that we have to utter "Jesus Christ" all the time. Of course He's the pinacle of our Christian faith. The things we've been talking about all lead to Him and we're just talking about how beautiful the road is on the way there and you're gonna fault us for that? Catholicism created by Jesus and He will always be there for us and eveything we do, we do it for Him. Theres no denying that. The only way you get to experience Him fully is thru the Catholic faith and thats something thats beyond words.
