CatherineM
I was 19 years old when I had mine out. It took them weeks to figure out what was wrong with me. 19 year olds aren't supposed to get gall stones. I was finally diagnosed by an old retired Army nurse who volunteered at our college infirmary. She heard me describe the pain, and she said, "that's your gallbladder sweetie, I'll got tell your boy genius MD so he can quit hurting his head trying to figure it out." [/quote] hahaha seriously!!! btw i came home the other day from my parents'. i was doing fine until last night, when i started having severe pain in my chest. i almost called the ER, but managed to contact a friend to pray with me and she said that she had romans 15:13 running through her head and felt that God wanted to share it with me. i hopped onto the website for the NAB, read and meditated on it and it became significantly better. i'm calling the surgeon today and if necessary, going to the ER. please keep me in your prayers. eustace scrubb
Wasn't necessary to go to the ER. Doing a lot better with the pain. Don't need to take the painkillers I was prescribed anymore. Currently taking Aleve (naproxen), which is over-the-counter. Been sleeping a lot. Feel a lot better emotionally and spiritually now.
