DancesforLove
Thats cool! I never thought of it that way... I totally agree about no sex before marriage, so many people are my age! and they are on bc or sleeping around I'm like thats so wrong! It totally bothers me, I am so staying abstinent until I'm married!!
CatholicCrusader
the big, 12 kid families need to come from somewhere...
They are practically non-existent...
Celibacy isn't nessarcilly "better"
According to the Baltimore Catechism it is better...period--no exceptions quoted--no exceptions needed.
Agreed. Who would make all the good Catholic families?
The ones who aren't Priests or Nuns. My plan is that 95% of people should be religious...the other 5% would have 15 children familes...the pattern repeats, mainatining the population...sounds good to me. God bless.
Is appears that that is not God's plan. Around 1 in 3 males feel a calling to the priesthood. Not all enter. If God's plan was 95% in religious life I think that 1 in 3 would be higher, by far.
hyperdulia again
What you said is true; however, the Saints and Sacred Scripture have taught us that to be a perpetual vigin is the most perfect vocation (Our Lady and Her Son, as well as most of the Saints). Our Lord Himself taught that to be a virgin should be taken on by all who can do so (which, of course, would also include a religious vocation). There is no such thing as the "permenant singe life". For gays, this may be different; however, they should just make themselves straight. God bless you all.
Man.. Eventually...I will learn...the definition of insanity is repeating the same act [coming to this site] and expecting a different result. C-ya next month Phatmass! cmotherofpirl
If you become a Permanent Deacon they are also celibate--although they can be married upon ordination.
Nope. The only celibate deacons are those men on the way to priesthood, or those who don't marry before joining te permanent diaconate. Married men can be deacons, however if their wife dies they may not remarry.
That's a good plan. That brightened my day; lol, most people are think the plan is: "Kill all but 5% of children through abortion. Less than 1% of people should be religious. Everyone should be on birth control. No one should be married. In fact, it's gotten boring with animals. Let's make ourselves exstinct!" Yep, I'm all smiles now lol.
