I don't recall sending anything to your inbox.

When I am bored, or in pain, I often serially post. It keeps me sane. If you find my posting offensive, please report me to a mod. If I get banned, I'd get more linoleum scraped up. I could use the vacation.

I think he has "subscribed" to this thread and has it set up so he gets an email every time there is a post. I suppose it is not your fault. It will soon be found out by newbs that this phorum moves at a faster pace than some :P

"All my life I have waited for this - a chance to find peace. Finally all the voices are silent. Only Tin Man speaks to me now. Don't you see, Data? This... is where I belong." - Tam Elbrun, TNG: Tinman

A favorite quote for my husband's friends with schizophrenia.

As a huge fan of him in particular, I present to you know an abridged Anthology of Odo:
----------
Odo: [about his past] What was it like, huh? I guess you could say I was - huh - the life of the party.
Lwaxana Troi: I... don't think I understand.
Odo: My way of trying to fit in. I found I could be entertaining. "Odo, be a chair" - I'm a chair; "Odo, be a razorcat" - I'm a razorcat. Life of the party!
[he chuckles sarcastically]
Odo: I *hate* parties.
---------
Odo: Odo to Sisko
Sisko: Go Ahead
Odo: Is there something you want to tell me?
Sisko: I'm in no mood for game, Constable. What do you need?
Odo: Have the environmental controls broken down? It's snowing on the Promenade!
Sisko: Snowing?
Odo: We're Looking at five or six centimeters down here
Sisko: Bring in all available security Odo, we're going to yellow alert
Odo: What's going on?
Sisko: It seems we're letting our imaginations run wild. I'll give you an explanation as soon as I have one. Sisko out.
Kira: Yellow alert against our own imaginations?
Sisko: You have a better idea?
---------
Worf: "They were an ecological menace, a plague to be wiped out."
Odo: "Wiped out? What are you saying?"
Worf: "Hundreds of warriors were sent to track them down throughout the galaxy. An armada obliterated the tribble homeworld. By the end of the 23rd century, they had been eradicated."
Odo: "Oh, another glorious chapter in Klingon history. Tell me, do they still sing songs of the Great Tribble Hunt?"
---------
Odo: "But don't worry - I plan to investigate the Klingons, the Bajorans, Quark, the visiting Terrelians..."
Sisko: "You think Quark had something to do with this?"
Odo: "I always investigate Quark."
----------
Odo: Most people wouldn't know reason if it walked up and shook their hand.
------
Lwaxana Troi: Is Odo your first or last name?
Odo: Yes.
----
Odo: I’ll never understand this obsession with accumulating material wealth. You spend your entire life plotting and scheming to acquire more and more until your living areas are bursting with useless junk, and then you die. Your relatives sell everything and start the cycle all over again.
------
Odo: One of the prices of giving people the freedom of choice, is that sometimes they make the wrong choice.
-----
Odo: The Klingon, Doctor; what did you find?"
Bashir: "He's still dead, if that's what you mean."
-----
Odo: I've had my eye on you for a long time, Rom. You're not as stupid as you look."
Rom: "I am, too!"

Captain Jean-Luc Picard: Gilgamesh, a king. Gilgamesh, a king. At Uruk. He tormented his subjects. He made them angry. They cried out aloud, "Send us a companion for our king! Spare us from his madness!" Enkidu, a wild man... from the forest, entered the city. They fought in the temple. They fought in the streets. Gilgamesh defeated
Enkidu. They became great friends. Gilgamesh and Enkidu at Uruk.

Captain Dathon: [faintly] At Uruk.

Captain Jean-Luc Picard: The... the new friends went out into the desert together, where the Great Bull of Heaven was killing men by the hundreds. Enkidu caught the Bull by the tail. Gilgamesh struck him with his sword.

Captain Dathon: [laughing] Gilgamesh.

Captain Jean-Luc Picard: They were... victorious. But... Enkidu fell to the ground, struck down by the gods. And Gilgamesh... wept bitter tears, saying, "He who was my companion, through adventure and hardship, is gone forever."

[Captain Dathon dies]

Who would have guessed that Star Trek was being used to send subliminal apologetic messages to non-Catholics:

[i]"You must be one with the rock"[/i]

(Spock to Kirk in "Star Trek V")

Despite the fact that I have seen almost every episode of every SINGLE Star Trek series that has ever been made, I can't think of any quotables off the top of my head.
