Dark Circles...

I picked up a new pair of glasses today from the eye center and it highlighted two things for me because they are almost rimless, both of which I hate:

1) I am blind. I am so blind I had to pay extra for my glasses. I am so blind I have the thinnest possible material and the glasses still look like "coke bottles".

2) I have terrible dark circles under my eyes that look just horrid. They make me look like a raccoon and I need to fix this. So....girls? What products can I use to get rid of these circles. While I am under stress all of the time, I do get enough sleep. Any suggestions?

I hate to say this, for fear of losing my man card, but my fiancee works at Bath and Body Works, and she's gotten me to go in on my own a couple of times. The sales reps are generally pretty knowledgeable, and should be able to point you to some product that is not makeup.

The last thing that you want is to look like this guy:

Hemorrhoid cream works great for puffiness under the eyes, and for circles, there is a under eye stick that looks a bit like a lipstick. It's kind of yellow really. I use Physician's Formula when I need it. It's cheap.

You could always go with the manly option of this:

Adam,

I asked my sister what she would recommend for getting rid of dark circles (she has sold both Mary Kay and Avon). She said that Avon sells something called "Lighten Up" it's an eye cream. She says that it works really well. She says it's about $8 for a tube of it.

For your undereyes you can use a concealer. If your planning on buying one check this out and see if it gets good ratings/reviews(for your specific usage) so you can see what's good(and save yourself money fom buying bad ones). A popular one for really dark circles is bobbi browns corrector because it doesn't only conceal but counteracts the coloring. I could elaborate but I'm not sure if you want to put on concealer. I have no idea how to get rid of them other than sleeping a lot, and some of it's genetic so what many girls do is use a concealer.

I've always looked like a raccoon, (inherited it from my father...)but I've had glasses since I was in kindergarten, and the glasses have always hid the circles. I have specifically never gone rimless because of that. So, my advice is don't get rimless.

um, I would certainly not recommend such a store, unless they've already removed their huge, pornographic, recent ad displays. If they have removed them, I would be very, very glad, though. :)

I was wearing glasses when you met me! :P
Honestly, at this point, even if I didn't NEED glasses, I'd still wear glasses, because I think I look weird without them.

I always have dark circles under my eyes as well, and I've had glasses since the age of two. :nerd:  I was planning on getting a pair of rimless glasses because I've found them to make my face a bit "brighter" (if that makes sense) and I've found that they usually weigh a bit less, too. (I can't really afford titanium frames, so the ones I have seem to put too much pressure on my nose... and that usually leads to sinus headaches. :( )

Maybe in a few years when I receive a veil (God willing!), that will take the attention away from the dark circles...

Ouch.

Well... Maybe your entire face will look brighter and no one will notice the circles! ^_^
