There is also a sister and Father from FSSP trying to get an active Carmelite order. Father is getting all the paper work together and many ladies (young and elderly) have been visiting for discernment. Here are some links if you are interested.

Just came from another Women's Discernment Group meeting. It was amazing. I don't know if anyone here has ever heard of this movie collection called The Stranger which is like a bunch of modern parables where Christ usually comes as a normal person and helps these people learn to face their problems. We watched one called Walk on Water which was where Jesus comes to a girl who is bullied because of her relationship with Him. He doesn't solve her problem but her Faith in Him was even stronger because of it. I loved it. I would like to watch the rest of them at some point. It helped me to work to continue to strengthen my relationship with Christ even though I don't know exactly what He's calling me to. I mentioned that I wish I could have a real conversation with Him and hear His answers directly but that doesn't actually happen. But you know in your heart when He gives you an answer.

The Sisters of Saint Francis of Perpetual Adoration are holding a retreat for high school girls this coming weekend, March 10-11. The retreat is at their motherhouse in Mishawaka, IN (close to Notre Dame). http://ssfpa.org/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=27

Nobody posted on this thread for almost a month!!! Have to change that :)

I think I posted already somewhere else that I could not enter as planned on April 1st because of some unexpected health issues... So but if all goes "as planned" I am there after Easter! *yeah* :)

Actually a week ago friends and I drove to the convent, its an 8 hour drive, and we let my things there, so that I will not need them to bring everything by train which would be a bit complicated... So I stayed for 3 days and now my cell is ready and waiting for me :)

So please keep on praying for me during this week that I will be good to go next week. I am a lot better, I do not really feel "sick" anymore, but I am still a bit weak from all this. It is so weird not to spend Holy Week in a monastery or in a religious setting... But it seems to be His plan for me now, so I enjoy life with friends and family. And Holy Week in a monastery is quite demanding and I think I will have a physically easier time settling in after Easter.

I will come back "home" at the beginning in June for a medical check-up, because I will have to stay in my own countries health insurance until I am done with this issue before changing to the convents insurance after.

Everything a little bit complicated, but it all works out somehow. I guess it will be a bit weird, leaving already again after 8 weeks for a week, but better than not entering until then!!!

So but that means that I will be able to check in to phatmass in June ;) :) And I hope to see a lot of people "gone" by then!! Especially Marigold and her visa!

Oh juchu, I hope so too! I'm sorry you've been ill, but getting a bonus week with friends and family doesn't sound too bad! You must be absolutely raring to go now. I wish you all the very best. Pray for us. :)
