However, I downloaded the PDF of this book before it was restricted to DAISY format online. If anyone needs it, just let me know and I'll email it to you. (I hope that's legal? When I downloaded it, the Internet Archive people themselves had made it freely downloadable legally.)

I wonder... were those books ever public domain? I mean maybe they realized that to begin with these books should never have been available as public domain books? were these books available on other public domain libraries such as Project Gutenberg?

That was my thought, there are a lot of other sources for books besides internet archive, to be honest i rarely use it
