southern california guy
Have you ever tried "beer traps" for slugs. You sink a cheap plastic cup into the ground, and fill it about an inch or so deep with beer. I'm not sure if the slugs can't get out and they drown, or if it's something about the beer -- but leave it for a day and you'll find the cup filled with dead slugs. Hilde
Our drunk slugs. Sounds like a waste of beer though. I've massacred hundreds of fruit flies setting up traps.

southern california guy
Our drunk slugs. Sounds like a waste of beer though. I've massacred hundreds of fruit flies setting up traps. You can use really crumby beer. The slugs don't care -- they will go for any beer! cartermia
I found a slug family up in my sycamore tree I like to climb in! I think they were leopard slugs.
ChristinaTherese
I found the tiniest slug I'd ever seen last week. I just noticed it crawling on my finger and watched it for a bit. It was cute.

AccountDeleted
I was taking a walk last night and I saw this big slug with spots, and it was on the concrete. I felt bad so I picked it up and put it in the grass. Yeah. Jason, I'm pretty sure I'm weirder then you I do that with slugs and snails and worms. I know gardeners hate the slugs and snails but I can't bear to think of them drying up because they can't get to green or shade. I know it's silly but what can we do huh? :)
