It makes me nervous, because my husband loves fishing, and when he was a little kid, took his fish out to play with them. I have forbidden him to take my fish out. Does anyone know if all varieties of tetras will school with eachother, or if you need to stick with just one kind of tetra? (i.e. would a glo-light tetra school with cardinal tetra?) Vincent Vega
Yes, all varieties of tetra can peacefully coexist.

I don't know that they'd get along so well.

Groo the Wanderer
Just be very careful when putting your computer into the aquarium as you don't want the fishy sucked into the power supply Edited May 23, 2010 by Groo the Wanderer

We need to govern their actions by putting them in aquariums. For their own good. ~Sternhauser
You, sir, are an oppressor of fishes. MissScripture
So, we got a few fish yesterday, and one was dead this morning. We took it back, got a new one, and now the new one (that we just added to the tank like half an hour ago) looks a little rough. He looks like he has a messed up fin or something. I guess I'll probably be going back to PetSmart, tomorrow...*sigh*

And are you using chlorinated city water? If so, did you treat it? ~Sternhauser

The second one is officially dead, but I think that there was something wrong with it before I got it, I just didn't notice until I put it in the tank. The other two fish are doing well...
