Ed Normile
I see a guy and he has better curls than i do. I mean, something's not quites... fair about that.
I think that many females spend way to much time messing with their hair, curling irons, mayonaise treatments and hot oils, excessive brushing to point of being an obsession and twisting things like weaves and bows and barrettes into the hair has to do so damage to the follicles. You ever notice that the old pictures of those who lived a wild life like early pioneers had massive amounts of hair, most pictures depict the apostles as having long flowing hair and I doubt these people washed their hair often. Maybe, just maybe too much styling and treatments actually kill hair, I have noticed a lot of young women, those who use the weaved in extensions seemingly going bald up top, I feel its from strangling or smothering the hair follicles. I am not advocating unwashed hair amongst the youth, but all things in moderation seems to be a good path. ed
missionseeker
lol. I wasn't obsessing over my hair. my hair is amesome. Wildly curly all by itself. I wash it in the morning, and it's ready to go. I rarely spend more than ten minutes a day on my hair. I love my hair. But When I see guys with even better curls, I do get jealous. lol. AudreyGrace
my hair is the awkward "not straight not curly and barely wavy" thing... so it almost always requires straightening or some product to make it look wavier. such a bother. i feel your pain.
