27-year-old Captain Kyle Comfort died on May 8 in Afghanistan as a result of an ambush attack on his convoy. An IED exploded, killing him. He was stationed at Ft. Benning, GA. He is a local from my area.

May God grant unto him eternal rest, and may the souls of the faithful departed, through His mercy, rest in peace. Amen.
