I'm really fond of however, I don't use it that often. And, like L_D said, Nihil has mastered the use of -- I totally agree! I hope one day to learn the art of "mellow".

Others I quite like: (Note from Iggy: I had to delete most of those LC listed, because the system told me there were too many images in my post. However, I did leave this one. I love it because Sister Helen comes to my yard every morning to feed the birds just like this.)

Excellent choices. You've included a lot of my favorites. But, I still feel like I'm missing some. For example, I'd love an emoticon that looks like this but without the sweat. (I don't sweat--I merely "glow.") Do we have an emoticon like that and I've managed to overlook it? (There a few that are quite similar, but not exactly the same.) It has something that a simple smile emoticon lacks.

Look at me crabbing. Phatmass has more choices, and more unique choices, than any board I've been on. It's just that I particularly like nuances, and sometimes I just can't get exactly the right nuance in the emoticons available. Oh well. I'll continue to hone my skills using what's available.

However, I doubt I will ever master I'm not even sure I have this emotion inside me, although I wish I did, because a true master of could rule the universe (or at least a large corporation). I'm doomed, because my face will always show an emotion that will completely give away what I am feeling.

Last, I know I'm going to rue the day I admitted this, but there is one emoticon that drives me nuts. Sometimes I even have to stop reading the post and change the page, because looking at it exhausts me. That emoticon is:

Since I've probably just dug my own grave by admitting this, I may as well do that, at least for tonight.

I think there should be one like this: :sadder: EXCEPT with a SMILE for "tears of joy", you know?

Aaaand, I think there should be a nun emoticon, too. Like this one: I mean, we've got two priestly emoticons, plus a bishop and a pope!

:priest: :priest_halo: :bishop: :funeral: :incense: :pope:

Ah, and perhaps a religious Friar would be nice as well! We need Religious Life representation! :D

It's close, but the mouth isn't moving. I know--picky, picky. I'm going to learn to be happy with what I have.

We DEFINITELY need a nun emoticon. But, you know, if you hadn't told me that the emoticon above was a nun, I wouldn't have known. She's wearing a VERY modified habit. If we can have a full-length Underdog , we should also be able to have a nun in a habit. Of course, that would mean a decision about WHICH habit.......

There's no reason we have to limit ourselves to only emoticon of a nun--we could have several major Orders represented.

Of course, that's easy for me to say, since I'm not the one who's going to be creating them!
