Angelus And Regina Caeli

[b][u]ANGELUS AND REGINA CAELI[/u][/b]

This may be posted somewhere else, but I couldn't find it. The Angelus is traditionally said in the monastery at 6am, 12noon and 6pm. The [i]Regina Caeli[/i] (or Coeli) is sung or recited in place of the Angelus during the Easter Season, from Holy Saturday through Pentecost Sunday.

Since it is always one of these times somewhere in the world, it seemed a good idea to add this prayer to the Rosary, Jesus Prayer and Divine Mercy Chaplet here on phatmass. Please join in, and sanctify the time it is where you are. Let's remember Our Lady who gave her fiat to God and His Son to us.

At 3pm in the convent we always prostrated on the ground and prayed:

[i][b]"We adore You Oh Christ and we bless You
Because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world."

Then we would follow up with a personal prayer, and mine was always:

[i][b]"I love you Jesus my love above all else, and I repent with my whole heart for having offended You. Never permit me to separate myself from You again. Grant that I may love You always, then do with me what You will."

[/i]It is always 3pm somewhere, yes so in theory, somone should always be adoring God and praising Him through His Son, Jesus. I like the T-Shirt idea.
