I'm no longer known as the official Latinist of Phatmass. :weep:

Of course, if you want to feel more like the official Latinist of Phatmass, I'd be more than happy to demand ungodly amounts of translation from you without compensation. I'm all about encouraging people's self-confidence in their talents.

Well, I'm teasing. I always took pride in Latin. I was the first person in the history of my high school to get gold medals on all four National Latin Exams, but by the time the end of my senior year rolled around, I was far more interested in theology, and I only ended up getting a minor in college.

Oh well, it serves its purposes.

You could always post asking on the forums at textkit. They have Latin and Greek.

You could also use their resources to learn latin  :))
It also has all of the sentances for Wheelock's latin translated for all those who need "assistance" with Latin homework. :saint:
[s]Unfortunately[/s] thankfully for my Latin studies I didn't learn the spoiler until after it wasn't useful.

I enjoyed that site very much in my Latin studies.

This thread actually makes me want to go back to it, and go back to my studies.

Let me help you with that!

:detective: What does this say? :saint:

I know it says something about praying and Saint Joseph and Angels and Eastertide and Sunday.

Funny thing, I started out as a Theo major before switching to Classics. I'll be minoring in Theology, though, so you can fill in my blanks with Theo and I'll fill in your blanks with Latin (AFTER I graduate, that is). :saint:

I'm honestly not sure I have any blanks with Latin. I'm fairly proficient and well-studied. I've studied Caesar, Cicero, Ovid, Catullus, Virgil, Medieval Latin, Epistolary Latin...

I get the Latin...I just haven't read every author (or any author completely, really).

The first lesson about theology is that I'm humbler than you. This is why I mentioned all my Latin experience. To glory in how proud I am is to practice a paradoxical self-abasement whereby I am supremely humble.

Bow before my sublime humility.

To the first part: noted
To the second part: Did you miss the part in Theo 101 where they taught the ten commandments?

I didn't say you had to bow in adoration. Dulia will be just fine.
